Polaroid 300

As you’ll remember a while ago i posted saying i had got this beauty, i’ve never really got round to using it alot due to cost of film, but i’ve decided to play with it and shoot some shots for a review and the blog.
Price paid: I picked up the camera for £20 in asda in irvine they were clearing out apparently they only sold one and they had 9 packs of film that expired and were thrown out (Drat)

The Camera: The polaroid 300 is an excellent camera to enter the world of instant photography with camera stores still stock film polaroid brand 300 film is hard to come across but what the staff in jessops refuse to believe (to an extent i had a rather large argument with a staff member over) Fuji’s instax mini film fits into the camera. This being said instant photography is pricey it works out at £1 per shot current film prices.
The camera itself is idiot proof, you have to pull out the lens to take a shot meaning no shots inside your bag. there are only 4 variable aperture settings but they are done in symbol. Once you’ve selected an aperture based on the symbols (sun, cloudy, partially cloudy and indoors) Push the button and your shot is spat out of the top of the camera.
underneath i will include some shots i’ve taken with my polaroid 300 loaded with fuji instax mini film
